The sea front is packed with entertainments. The fairground boasts a roller coaster, ghost train and many other rides and all the usual sideshow amusements. From Easter on through summer more, larger, rides are brought in. Right next door to the fairground is the ten-pin bowling alley which, as previously mentioned has its own pub.

Across the road from the fair is the South Marine Park which has a boating lake and a miniature steam, passenger carrying, railway.

Just across the road to the South is Bents Park which has open air entertainment all through the summer holiday season and a popular caravan park.

Look north from the lake and you will find more entertainment and leisure. Starting with the Pier Pavillion theatre where the 'Westovians' local amateur dramatic company perform regular productions. The North Marine park has more formal gardens and a putting green is a popular attraction. Here you will also find amusement arcades and a Quazar hall if you want a fast and furious mock battle this is the place to go.
